Marketing & Adminstrative Assistant - Part Time - Korean Speaking

Current Opportunities

We have an opening starting in fall 2024 for a part-time (with possibility of becoming fulltime) marketing & administrative assistant Korean native speaker.  We are seeking an energetic and detail oriented individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment in our Vancouver office. After completing a training program, daily tasks will focus on creating a Korean-language translation of our existing website and subsequent marketing materials, and supporting our agent team in dealing with client workflow. Duration: one year renewable annually for up to four years (IEC visa, PR visa or Canadian citizenship status required). Assistance with Canadian immigration sponsorship may be available for appropriate IEC visa holders.

Required

  • Minimum 2 years College/University – preferably with diploma/degree;
  • Prior experience in an office setting is preferred;
  • Fluent reading, writing and speaking skills in Korean;
  • High level of reading, writing and speaking skills in English;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • High energy, positive attitude and team player;
  • Ability to take direction, but act with initiative and self motivate to meet deadlines and responsibilities;
  • Solid organizational ability and an attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications, word processing and spreadsheet software..
  • Previous Digital Marketing/Content Creation experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Translate English website into Korean;
  • Set up Korean-language Social Media accounts;
  • Create Korean-language marketing materials;
  • Engage in Korean-language SEO campaigns;
  • Send basic email marketing communication to website users in both Korean & English;
  • Complete administrative tasks such as processing early return refunds, cancellations, policy date changes;
  • Validate monthly commission statements from suppliers;
  • Follow-up with clients to obtain missing application/refund information;
  • Answer client calls and redirect to office agents during heavy call volumes;
  • Complete various tasks associated with the operation of our day-to-day business.

Hours

20 - 30 hours per week (may become full time)

Location

200 block West Broadway (and Cambie) Street, Vancouver, BC (some work from home opportunities after training).

Wages

$25/hr.  Additional significant team-based monthly bonuses after three-month probationary period.
